Dance

Steel's versatility extends to dance, where he has trained extensively in multiple styles. He began his formal dance training in 2020 through online learning in the Byron Nelson High School dance department. Upon returning to in-person classes later that year, he quickly excelled in foundational dance techniques and terminology. By 2021, after developing a strong base in ballet and jazz, he expanded into lyrical/contemporary, pom, and hip-hop, ultimately finding his strengths in lyrical/contemporary, hip-hop, jazz, and pom. During his senior year (2022–23), Steel was honored as the first-ever founding Blue Royalty (now Blue Royals) Co-Captain, leading his dance team alongside Captain Talia Saulsberry.

In 2022, he ventured into competitive cheerleading and was recruited by Trinity All-Stars, where he cheered at the highest levels (3.2) under the guidance of Justin Russell and Leslie DeGracia until graduating in 2023. Continuing his passion for dance beyond high school, Steel became a member of the Nectar Dance Team at SCAD, directed and choreographed by Music Miranda, a hip-hop choreography specialist. His talent has drawn attention from the SCAD Casting Office, which has personally requested his dance tapes for their database. Additionally, Steel is frequently sought after by peers and collaborators for performances and choreography in various projects.

Acting
While pursuing an acting degree with a minor in business entrepreneurship at SCAD, Steel has simultaneously built an impressive portfolio in the world of acting. In 2025, he began voicing the character Forrest Woods in the Legends of Serenity: Everlands Rising Saviors (LOS:ERS) podcast, showcasing his versatility and talent in voice acting. That same year, he starred as Walter in the original comedic tragedy play VACANCY, created, written, and directed by Grace Cafagna. He has also made appearances in several productions, including The Last Sip, directed by Noah Naidoo; King's Game, directed by Hannah Ballard; and With A Sickness, directed by Alicia Horton.
